Nicolas founded Geo212 in 1999, at the crossroads of his desire for independence and his attraction for geography, cartography, and spatial imagery. Today he ensures the operational management of Geo212, following a policy based on professionalism, the development of unique know-how, and humanism. After studying mathematics and computer science in Paris - Orsay, Nicolas entered the fascinating world of digital geography and satellite imagery in 1991 at Fleximage, where he worked for 8 years at the Cellule d'Etude en Géographie Numérique of the DGA (Minarm). His main missions were on the quality of geolocated data and standardization. It is where he discovered military cartography and space imagery. This experience has built up his interest in geolocated data: collection, modelling, qualification, production, and transformation, cross-data with other types of information to produce intelligence, to follow its evolution over time... Nicolas is data-obsessed.

Coming from a university background in geography and planning and a master's degree in geomatics applied to urban studies and risks, Timothée fell in love with the technique during his various professional experiences in regional planning. The maintenance of geographic references and cartography were its main missions. He also learns about database administration, IT development, and GIS management. He joined Geo212 in 2018 to lead the administration and development of the PostgreSQL / PostGIS database. He also ensures, with the help of open solutions, the continuity and development of GIS for businesses and analysts.

Alexia obtained a master's degree in land use planning and development, and she is passionate about the field work. She spent three years in Guinea at INSUCO. During this period, she was involved in many environmental and social studies, with the integration of the local population. She joined Geo212 in 2015 where her work experience, her enthusiasm for the use of NICTs, and her curiosity allow her to carry out comprehensive geographic analyzes in various areas. Alexia is also a cartographer; she loves beautiful maps and masters D.A.O.

After a course combining mathematics, statistics, computer science, and geography, Flavie resumed her career with a master's degree in geomatics. Flavie joined Geo212 in 2021. Passionate about data analysis and the creation of result representation tools, she strongly believes that these solutions provide a better understanding of the territories and the changes they face. Focusing on open tools, Flavie likes to work with R, QGIS, databases, and the development of mapping applications.

After a university course in geography (master’s degree in physical geography) and several experiences in digital cartography publishing (press, urban planning, IGN), Romane joined Geo212 in 2018. As a geographer analyst, she brings his analytical and descriptive skills, as well as her graphic expertise to Geo212 projects.

Graduated in geosciences and GIS, Alexandra supervises the geographical studies that Geo212 carries out as part of its services for the benefit of various operators. Working at Geo212 since 2010 as a geographer analyst, she became the head of studies in 2012 then project manager. Alexandra brings her expertise in operational management and geography to many projects within Geo212.

Graduated in geography and planning, Alice followed a master's degree specialized in decision support in urban and regional planning and a master's degree in geographic information science engineering for territorial innovation in Besançon. Her multidisciplinary training allowed her to reach a solid expertise in the methods and tools of geographic information and spatial analysis of territories. Alice joins the Geo212 team in 2022 to bring her technical and methodological expertise in order to carry out geographical analyses answering Geo212's challenges.

Passionate about maps and atlases since his childhood, Fabrice naturally studied geography (in Lyon), then followed with a specialization in cartography (in Caen, DESS GIS). After several assignments, notably within the Institut d'Aménagement et d'Urbanisme d'Ile-de-France (Institut Paris Region), he worked for 10 years on behalf of the engineering and consulting company Egis (transport and environment sectors). Fabrice joined Geo212 in 2017. Have a particular appetite for transport geography and economic geography; he is specialized in the analysis of transport networks and in the identification of anthropogenic entities by photointerpretation.

Laureline joined Geo212 in 2016. After a master's degree in physical geography, she completed her education with a master's degree in geomatics. The dynamics of natural landscapes are her favorite focus, and she is convinced of the value of using geographic data in the study of spaces. Her education and past professional experiences have allowed her to accumulate geographic expertise and good command of spatial analysis tools, which she uses every day at Geo212. Laureline is also working on setting up tools for monitoring and monitoring changes impacting the landscapes (construction sites for large infrastructures and major natural hazards).

Holder of a master's degree in geography and geomatics, and globetrotter, Camille has contributed in several missions in Africa and the French Caribbean which gave her in-depth knowledge of the local context. Thanks to her expertise in geomatics tools and spatial imagery, she analyzes human issues in various environments (geopolitical context, exploitation of resources, urban dynamics, etc.). President of the Agit'Glaz association, Camille is committed to the ecological transition on the scale of a coastal area (Finistère). Her favorite subjects are biodiversity, wetlands conservation, sustainable land planning, and citizen engagement such as collaborative mapping.

C’est sa curiosité scientifique qui a conduit Bénédicte à suivre une formation initiale de Physique et de Météorologie et c’est son envie d’applications concrètes qui l’a guidée vers un master de Télédétection et de Géomatique. En poste depuis 2012 chez Geo212, elle anime aujourd’hui le pôle R&D qui vise à faciliter l’exécution des projets SIG de l’équipe par la création d’outils internes dédiés et qui permet une ouverture sur des méthodologies innovantes de qualification de la donnée.
Elle met sa rigueur et sa ténacité à profit pour décortiquer les sources, comparer et qualifier les données lors de sa veille technologique sur les données vecteurs, raster, les outils informatiques, les produits cartographiques, mais également les nouveaux capteurs satellitaires et le marché du spatial en général.
Secrétaire de l’association GeoRezo, Bénédicte prend activement part à la vie d’une communauté basée sur l’entraide et le bénévolat.
Bénédicte's scientific curiosity led her to take training in Physics and Meteorology and it was her desire for concrete applications that guided her towards a master's degree in Remote Sensing and Geomatics. Working at Geo212 since 2012, she now leads the R&D service which aims to facilitate the implementation of the team's GIS projects by creating internal tools and which allows access to innovative methodologies for data qualification.
She uses consistency and tenacity to analyze sources, compare, and qualify data during her technological watch on vector and raster data, computer tools, cartographic products, but also new satellite sensors, and more widely the space market.
Secretary of the GeoRezo association, Bénédicte is active in the community based on mutual assistance and volunteering.

She worked for 7 years at the CNRS, six of which spent creating a GIS to map the history of Shanghai (Virtual Shanghai Project). She has developed skills in data production and management, spatial analysis, cartographic editing, user training, and communication.
Isabelle joined Geo212 in 2014 where she discovered the world of Open Data. She sets up methods to extract, cross, qualify and collect multisource and variable information. OpenStreetMap and Wikimapia are her favorite tools. Passionate about urban planning and urban geography, she also dedicates her time to city explorations, from the sky, and on the ground.
